ACE Fights - The Action

With the Ontario Athletic Commission making life difficult for people putting on professional mixed martial arts shows it is great that Ontario has such a large amateur scene. Promoters like ACE give the fighters and fans an outlet for mixed martial arts in Ontario. Last Friday 28 fighters got to test themselves in front of 100's of fans at Nashville North. Last year there were close to 25 AMMA shows in Ontario, from Windsor to Kingston and North to Sault Ste Marie. Make sure to get out and support the local promotions fighting to keep MMA alive in Ontario.

Below are some of the images I captured from the evening.

PAFC 4 - VS Posters

I did a series of VS posters for PAFC's upcoming sold out event on August 13th at the London Music Hall. The event is available on Pay-per-View. I'm pretty stoked for some of these fights and I highly recommend buying the PPV.

PAFC 4 Posters - The Second Batch

Second batch of posters for PAFC 4 at the London Music Hall on August 13. Thanks to Platinum MMA for letting us shoot the fighters for the promotional images. This is going to be a packed card and the fighters came in looking great 7 weeks out, they are going to be ripped come fight night. I know tickets are almost completely sold out for the event and pay per view might be the only way to see it. That night the 145 and 205 belts will be handed out. I will be photographing the show.

Maple City Cagefighting - MMA

I'll be shooting Maple City Cagefighting #3 in Chatham this weekend. I've shot all of their events so far and they put on good fights. I believe there are a few tickets left for Saturday. MCC is now part of the Amateur Mixed Martial Arts of Ontario (AMMAO) There will be a 145 lbs tournament to determine who will fight for the belt. I'm really looking forward to some of the fights and Thomas Armstrong of Gracie-Barra Chatham always treats me well and promotes a good night of entertainment.
