I got the opportunity to shoot Lee Baxter Promotions' last show in Brampton at the Powerade Centre. It was some of the most beautiful light I've ever shot boxing in. A good night of fights with lots of action.

DO Boxing Show - Behind the Scenes at our Promo Shoot

I had my good friend Dameon Okposio come into studio to update his head shots.

Dameon created a behind the scenes video of the shoot for his YouTube show: DO Boxing Show.

You can always use a good head shot for business. Dameon does a lot of seminars and speaking engagements so the pictures really support him. In addition Dameon writes for and publishes Below the Belt Magazine. We did some basic portrait work with Dameon in his unique shirts and then went on the head shots.

Ontario Boxing Hall of Fame Inductions - 2017

I was back for my second year at the Ontario Boxing Hall of Fame induction ceremony. A great day of events put on my Dameon Okposio. It was an emotional ceremony with more than one recipient in tears by the end of their speeches. A lot of deserving boxers and builders were inducted.

Boxing images from United Promotions Boxing in Toronto

I went to Mississauga on Friday night for the United Promotions Boxing show. There were some entertaining fights on the card that say Josh O'Reilly move to 9-0 after crushing his opponent's body with a devastating left. Always a good time to get ringside for some fights in Toronto.

Fitness and Boxing Photo Shoot with Sam

Agency represented (Swagger Management) model Sam came down from Toronto to work with me a couple of weeks ago. We split the day between Powerhouse Training Systems and Warriors Boxing and Fitness.  I've worked with Sam a couple of times before in Toronto and he always brings a great enthusiasm to the shoot as well as a killer physique and work ethic.

SHAW BOXING - Pro Boxing in Toronto

The Shaw Boxing event is a fund raising event held every year to benefit the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake. This year on April the 4th is a great night of fights. I've personally know 5 of the 6 boxers on the card and have previously photographed 4 of them.

There are some real good fights on this card, especially the main event. I photographed both of those fighters multiple times. I'm hoping Higson / Young becomes a by-word for great Canadian boxing. I'm covering the event for Below the Belt Magazine.

DO Boxing Expo - Promotional Materials

Commercial Photography is always a good area to be involved with. In addition to the fitness and fight photography, I photograph a lot of catalogue and promotional images. Dameon Okposio is a good friend of mine and is putting on the 2017 Boxing Expo in May of next year. It's going to be a huge event, with a trade show, amateur boxing, a boxing combine and the Ontario Boxing Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
